Frequency Asked Questions.
Q: What's the breakdown of a full session? What should we expect during our time together?

A: We'll spend the first 5 minutes just chatting and getting to know each other, and I'll walk you through how the session will go. I'll then snap away a few classic, posed photos and then we'll go into some more fun prompts and poses. I'll be sure to ask if there's any specific type of photos you really wanted so that we can capture those as well. At the end of the session, I'll remind you of when you'll receive the photos and how.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Natural and genuine. When booking your session, you select a time of day and location that you love for your photos, and thus, I believe it's important for the final product to reflect that. While I don't drastically edit or over edit the photos, I do make small lighting, color and saturation adjustments to create a beautiful end product for you.

Q: Can I post them on social?
A: Yes! Once the gallery is delivered to you, you can do as you please with them. I encourage you to post the photos on your social media, but please tag me in the comments or the caption as it helps other see who took your photos. I love re-sharing the photos that you post as well!

Q: I'm not sure where I'd like to take my photos, can you recommend a location?
A: Absolutely! All you need to know when booking a session is that you want to take photos with me! I'll ask you a few questions on the look and feel that you have in mind and from there, recommend a few different locations.

Q: How many photos do I receive from a session? How long do I have to wait?

A: For every hour of shooting, I typically deliver 65-75 photos but this can fluctuate due to a number of factors (i.e. type of session, cooperation from kids, length of session, etc). I will always send your photos within 2 weeks of the session date depending on the session type.

Q: What type of Editing is included in your session fee?

A: For every session, I spend hours culling through all of the photos I've taken during our time together and remove any photos that may not be as sharp as others, have awkward facial expressions, or do not present my best work. I then edit all of the ones I absolutely love by adjusting lighting, color and saturation.

More advanced retouching, such as blemish removal, skin smoothing, hair strand removal, etc. is an additional fee per photo (anywhere between $5-15, depending on the complexity of the photo. I also offer retouching packages.

Q: What happens in the case of inclement weather?

A: If the weather will affect the quality of the images, (such as extreme rain, extreme grayness) we will reschedule the session to another date at no fee. If the weather is not to your liking but suitable for photos and will not affect the quality, I do require an additional deposit to secure a new date.

Q: We are super nervous for our photos and feel awkward when we take them. Will you help?

A: I hear this from about every body that I photograph! It's normal to be nervous, you're working with a new person doing something you've probably never done before. Rest assured, by the end of our session we'll be chatting as if we're best friends and you'll forget that you're even taking photos.
I will provide a number of different prompts (i.e. Whisper your grocery list to your SO in your sexiest voice) and poses that will put you at ease.

Q: Can I get the Raw unedited Gallery?

A: I do not give out the Raw photos for a few reasons. The first reason - you likely do not have a software on your computer that can open these photos. Second - they do not represent my final work as I cull through the raw photos and ensure that each one is edited to my absolute liking and reflects the quality of the photos you've seen in my portfolio of work. Besides, a chef wouldn't bring out a raw chicken, after all!

Q: I love your style and would like to book a shoot. What's next?

A: I can't wait to work together! You can DM me or email me with the type of session you are interested in and we'll schedule a date, time and location. I'll then send you a booking link where you will sign a digital contract and fill out a questionnaire that will help me get to know you better.

I require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to secure the session and the balance will always be due at the completion of the session.

If something comes up and you have to reschedule, if you can provide me with at least 5 days notice, based on the type of session, I'm able to hold the deposit for another date. If you have to reschedule less than that, I do require a new deposit.
